HISD sets calendar for 2023-24 school year
Houston ISD trustees finalized the 2023-24 academic calendar at their monthly board meeting Thursday (Feb. 9). The first day of school for students will be Aug. 28, with teachers returning two weeks earlier. Classes will run through June 5, 2024, and teachers will work an additional day to close out their academic year.
