February 9, 2010 by Essentials Staff Leave a Comment

Two thieves got away on foot with a flat-screen television from the Radio Shack in West University Place last Thursday.
Store employees called police on Feb. 4 around 5:30 p.m. after the suspects stole the TV and fled on foot on Kirby Drive. Police searched the area, but they were unable to find the two men.
Two other people reported they were the victims of theft during the week of Feb. 1 to 8.
On Feb. 4, a person visited the West U. police station to report that someone had stolen items.
Also on Feb. 4, a resident called police to the 6400 block of Sewanee Street to report a theft. The victim’s daughter found the items missing, and the West U. resident said she thought the items were stolen in mid December when she was on bed rest and had a caretaker in the house.
