Three students who were 30 minutes late to their final exams at Bellaire High School never got to take the test, after HISD and Bellaire police found a green, leafy substance inside one of their backpacks on December 17.
One of the students left the campus before police arrived, and two other students were found loitering in the hallway near the school clinic when an administrator searched the backpack and found two clear plastic baggies containing what appeared to be marijuana. Bellaire police listed the offense as possession of narcotics in a drug free zone.
