TODAY: Bellaire runoff elections…voting never easier

December 14, 2019 by George Boehme

Voting has never been easier because Bellaire residents can vote at any voting location in Harris County. So take a few minutes out of your Saturday to help select two of your neighbors who want to represent you on the Bellaire City Council.

The polls are open until 7:00 p.m.

Three of the six City Council seats, along with the Mayor, were in play in the Nov. 5 General Election. Mayor Andrew Friedberg was reelected. Catherine Lewis defeated incumbent Trisha Pollard.

However, in two of the city council positions, no candidate gathered a majority of the votes. So today is the runoff election between the two candidates in each race receiving the most votes.

The choices are –

Council Member – Position No. 4

Nathan Wesely

Winfred Frazier

Council Member – Position No. 6

Jim Hotze

David R. Montague

Polling Locations in Bellaire:

ChristChurch Presbyterian, 5001 Bellaire Blvd.

Faith American Lutheran Church, 4600 Bellaire Blvd.

Horn Elementary School, 4530 Holly St.
