The West U. Elementary Violin Class performed at the Dec. 1 Tree Lighting Ceremony, as well as the WUE Choir. Mayor Bob Kelly announced the winners of the coloring contest prior to the lighting. The winners are Marvel Hariadi for Kindergarten and first grade, Alexandra Faison for second and third grade, and Emily Hwu for fourth and fifth grade. After the lights were turned on, Santa arrived on a fire truck for photos with the children.
