Two Louisiana residents are in jail after being arrested in Bellaire for possession of meth and marijuana.
According to police reports, a Houston Police Department Narcotics Officer contacted the Bellaire Police Department on March 6 to stop a vehicle driving through Bellaire.
An officer pulled the vehicle over in the 5400 block of Bellaire around 4:27 p.m. on a traffic violation.
During a search of the vehicle, the officer found 79 grams of methamphetamines and 59.4 grams of marijuana in the vehicle, according to the report.
Trinity Jefferson, a 37-year-old Colfax, LA resident, was charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute.
Jamie Mullins, a 26-year-old Alexandria, LA resident, was charged with possession of marijuana.
Both suspects are currently in jail. Jefferson is being held without bond. Mullins is being held on a $1,000 bond.
