Two Suspects In Theft From West U. Home

West U. police are investigating two possible suspects in a case of theft from a home in the 3000 block of Rice Boulevard. The resident reported on Aug. 3 that an item was stolen from a bedroom of her house.
Police pulled over a driver around 2:39 a.m. Aug. 4 after watching the driver hit a curb while turning on to Bellaire Boulevard from Weslayan. The traffic stop was made in the 3900 block of Case. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
A resident in the 2800 block of Wroxton reported theft from his garage on Aug. 4. There were no signs of forced entry.
On Aug. 4 police were dispatched to Hermann Hospital in reference to a sexual assault that already occurred. The victim knows the suspect, and police are investigating.
A resident came to the police station on Aug. 7 to report that the screen that leads to a patio at their home was cut.
A man was arrested for warrants after police were called to the 4200 block of Law for a possible burglary of a motor vehicle in progress. Officers found the suspect in the 4200 block of Albans. He had a warrant, and was arrested. The burglary in progress took place in the Houston city limit.
A resident in the 6300 block of Mercer called 911 on Aug. 9, but was found to be fine after police responded. The resident was referred to adult protective services.
