Two Wallets Reported Stolen From Shopping Carts At HEB

The Bellaire Police Department is investigating the theft of two wallets stolen out of shopping carts while the victim’s were shopping. Both occurred at the HEB grocery store at 5130 Cedar.

 

According to reports, the first theft occurred around 3:25 p.m. Dec. 24, the second around 10:21 a.m. Dec. 26.

 

A resident of the 100 block of S. Third reported stolen earrings. The thefts allegedly occurred two weeks prior to the victim making a report.

 

A car reported as disabled in the 100 block of Bellaire Court on Dec. 24 was found to be stolen out of Houston.

 

A resident in the 500 block of Wisteria reported a theft on Dec. 26. The theft occurred some time between Dec. 12 and Dec. 26.

 

A woman who left her purse at the bus stop in the 5100 block of Bellaire Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. Dec. 26 returned ten minutes later to find her purse gone.

 

Two men were arrested after an officer noticed what appeared to be a disabled vehicle blocking traffic in the 4600 block of Cedar. The officer discovered the vehicle was listed as stolen. The driver, Steven Livings, 39, was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance after 1 gram of crack cocaine was discovered in his possession. The passenger, Martin Pendleton, 52, was charged with criminal trespass of a motor vehicle.
