Unknown Burglars Break Into Several West U Vehicles, One Residence

Unknown burglars broke into several vehicles and a home between Oct. 3 and Oct. 9.
These incidents were reported to West U police from Oct. 3 to Oct. 9:
On Oct. 3, a garage door opener was stolen from a vehicle in the 3000 block of Quenby.
An unknown suspect broke the rear driver side window and stole the opener.
On Oct. 4, a bicycle was stolen from a driveway in the 3800 block of Rice.
The bicycle was on a SUV bike rack in the driveway.
On Oct. 5, a home was broken into in the 6300 block of Brompton and a computer was stolen.
On Oct. 6, a vehicle was rummage through in the 2800 block of Nottingham.
On Oct. 6, an iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2800 block of Nottingham.
On Oct. 6, electronic items, cash, a makeup bag and a pair of sunglasses were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2700 block of Albans. The property was worth about $150, police said.
On Oct. 9, a resident turned in a credit card that was found in the 5300 block of Belmont near the intersection of Wonton.
