Unknown Suspect Attempts Robbing Repairman At Gunpoint

Police are looking for a suspect who attempted to rob a repairman on Dec. 16.

Bellaire police are looking for a black male suspect who attempted to rob a repairman at gunpoint on Dec. 16.

According to police reports, the suspect came up to the repairman in the 5100 block of Maple and brandished a black semi-automatic handgun, demanding money.

The male victim said he did not have any cash with him and the suspect fled on foot, police said.

No one was injured during the attempted robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 ft. or 6 ft. 2 inches tall and is very skinny. The suspect could also weigh about 150-160 lbs. and is estimated to be between 20-25 years of age.

He was last seen wearing a dark or black colored hoodie with dark colored shorts and had a light goatee, police said.
