A ten-inch water main ruptured today at the intersection of University Blvd. and Vanderbilt Street due to ground shifting. Repairs will begin tomorrow. Yard restoration will be complete within the next ten days, according to city officials.
City of West University staff have also investigated a fire hydrant at 3701 Sunset that was reported faulty by the fire department, and determined that the hydrant requires replacement. The new hydrant is scheduled to be installed next week.
