West U Author to Hold Reading at Brazos Bookstore

West U residents are invited to a reading of West U author Chris Cander’s latest novel, 11 STORIES.
Cander will do a reading on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. at Brazos Bookstore, 2421 Bissonnet.
Her novel 11 STORIES is a story of isolation and community, heartbreak and redemption, told through the memories of Roscoe Jones as he falls off the eleven-story building in Chicago where he lived and worked as superintendent.
New York Times bestselling author David Eagleman calls Cander “a bold new voice in American letters.”
Publisher’s Weekly gave the book a starred review and Kirkus called it a “wonderfully clever compilation.”
