A team of 23 from West U. Baptist and Crosspoint Church traveled to Costa Rica to participate in the Happy Feet International, delivering 1,000 Pairs of new shoes to children.

mission trip with Happy Feet International. Led by Eric Campbell and senior pastor Barry Landrum, the group traveled each day from its base camp on a goat farm to underprivileged children in Costa Rica villages. After washing the children’s feet, mission participants presented each child with a new pair of socks and shoes — many their first pair ever.

West U. Baptist and Crosspoint Church will take its third mission team on a Happy Feet International trip to an impoverished country in summer 2010 on the coattails of this year’s trip to Costa Rica and 2008 trip to Ecuador.
