The West U City Council will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. to consider a resolution about METRO’s proposed bus route on Weslayan through the city.
The resolution states that “West U respectfully requests Metro’s reconsideration of other more suitable and established bus routes” though the city.
The council also will hold a workshop at 5:45 p.m. Monday, to discuss employee health and dental insurance, and the rezoning of the city’s non-single family properties. A steering committee has been meeting for several months, working with consultants KKC (Kendig Keast Collaborative) on rezoning the city’s commercial properties.
