West U Gas Prices Drop 3 Cents To $2.51 Per Gallon, Still Up From Last Month

Average retail gasoline prices in the West U area dropped 3 cents per gallon in the past week.
As of today, the average price for unleaded regular gasoline in the West U area is $2.51 per gallon.
This compares with the national average that fell 2.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.70 per gallon, according to gasoline price website HoustonGasPrices.com.
Including the change in gas prices in West U during the past week, prices yesterday were 28.3 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 5.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 1.8 cents per gallon during the last month and now stands 20.7 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
