West U Is Now Wired

The cityof West University Place’s city hall and community service center are now good spots to hook up to the Internet.
The city’s new wireless Internet went into service “about 15 minutes ago,” said City Councilman George Boehme.
City Councilman Steven Segal said the Community Service Center will “soon” be wireless, so that West U residents can obtain free wi-fi there.
After the council meeting Monday evening, City Manager Michael Ross said the free wireless Internet connections “actually became available at city hall about two weeks ago.”
Free wi-fi will be offered at the Community Center soon, and the city also plans to inclue wireless Internet access at the city’s new recration facilities next year, Ross said.l
