The West University Library is still accepting book donations from residents for an upcoming book sale.
The Nov. 14 sale is organized by the Friends of the Library, and proceeds benefit the library in many ways.
“We are able to hire performers for children’s programs in the summer, purchase additional furniture and bookshelves for the library, or additional books beyond those provided to us by Harris County,” said Branch Manager Margaret Triandafyllis.
Books will be displayed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. under the covered walkway at the library, 6108 Auden St.
