The West U. Zoning and Planning Commission will meet 6:15 p.m. tomorrow in the Bill Watson Conference Room of the Municipal Building, 3800 University Blvd.
The commission will discuss possible amendments to the Zoning Ordinance including garage and driveway regulations, replacement of mechanical equipment, revised definitions and building regulations for old-stock housing, miscellaneous structures in yards, and clarifying the definition of “structure.”
Also on the agenda are matters relating to variances and special exceptions, including basic concepts, recent court decisions and possible amendment of the Zoning Ordinance to add criteria and limitations.
Matters relating to excavations and underground structures will be discussed, as well as the commercial district including the Town Center area, the JMH site and parking areas.
