West U Police Arrest Nederland Resident For Possession Of Marijuana

West U police arrested a 22-year-old Nederland resident for possession of 5.5 grams of marijuana.
West U police arrested a 22-year-old Nederland resident on Sept. 15 for possession of marijuana.
Police pulled over a vehicle in the 5200 block of Wakeforest at 3:22 a.m. for not stopping at a red light.
During the traffic stop, officers could detect the smell of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Police asked the driver and the passenger to step out of the vehicle so they could do a search.
During the investigation, the officer found a clear baggie containing marijuana in the glove box, police said.
The driver, a 22-year-old Nederland resident, told police that the marijuana belonged to her passenger.
Bradley Jackson, a 22-year-old Nederland resident, admitted that the marijuana belonged to him and he was arrested for possession of 5.5 grams of marijuana.
The driver was cited for the traffic violation.
Jackson was transported to Harris County jail.
