West U Police Cite Houston Resident For Possession Of Glass Pipe

Police cited a Houston resident for possession of drug paraphernalia. Two other Houston residents were arrested for outstanding West U warrants.
West U police cited a 20-year-old Houston resident on Sept. 10 for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police pulled over a vehicle in the 3200 block of Cason for speeding.
During the traffic stop, the officer could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle.
When the officer told the driver that they were going to search the vehicle, the driver handed over a glass pipe, police said.
The officer also found loose marijuana scattered on the floor of the vehicle and seized 0.1 ounce of marijuana.
On Sept. 6, Sandra Ford, a 45-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for outstanding West U warrants.
Ford had four outstanding warrants for no driver’s license, expired registration, failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear, police said.
She was released from jail for time served.
On Sept. 9, Carolina Vasquez, a 27-year-old Houston resident, was arrested for outstanding West U warrants.
Vasquez had three outstanding warrants for failure to appear, failure to maintain financial responsibility and no driver’s license, police said.
She was released from jail for time served.
