West U Little League Seniors were defeated 9-8 by South Vineland, New Jersey last night in Bangor, Maine.
New Jersey pulled ahead in the 10th inning to take the win.
This is the second year in a row that West U Little League has made it to the Seniors League World Series and the second time they’ve lost to New Jersey.
The West U Seniors will play again tonight at 7 p.m. against Canada.

The West University Senior Little League team defeated the Canadian East Park Senior Little League tonight 7 to 5 in the Senior Little League World Series in Bangor Maine. They play Thursday at 4:00 CST and a win will qualify them to play in the semi-finals on Friday. The final game will be played on Saturday and will be televised by ESPNU. They are trying to repeat their 2009 Senior World Series Championship.
