Woman Arrested For Giving False Name To Police

Shekia Colar, 30, was arrested after providing a false name and date of birth to Bellaire police officers on May 19.

Police pulled over Colar’s vehicle in the 6800 block of West Service Road for unconfirmed insurance. The false name she provided came up as a suspended license and Colar was placed in custody.

Automated finger identification detected Colar’s correct name and date of birth. She was charged with fail to identify fugitive from justice after officers found a feoly warrant from Harris County and warrants from Houston Police Department.

Colar’s passengers were also arrested.

Quintina Means, 20, was arrested for a Harris County Precinct 5 misdemeanor warrant.

Laquisha Jones, 20, was arrested for a Harris County misdemeanor warrant.
