A woman visited the West University Place Police Department last week to report that someone sent multiple pornographic text and picture messages to her cell phone.
She said she had been receiving the pornographic messages for a couple days. Police are investigating the incident to see if they can catch the lewd texter.
“It looks like there’s a number, and we’re looking at it to find out if we can follow the number and see who it belongs to,” said West U. Lt. Charlie Deily. “I would think if the number wasn’t blocked we ought to be able to find out who it is.”
