In an effort to encourage families to focus on their health and well-being, the Weekley Family YMCA offers a Membership For All program that calculates monthly dues based on household income.
“Like so many Americans, members of our community are feeling overwhelmed, stressed and a little powerless,” said Dawn Dunn, Health and Wellness Director. “Times of change and uncertainty are not times to ‘go it alone.’ We encourage members of our community to come together and support one another. Take a walk, get together with neighbors, volunteer and get active.”
“Now is not the time to sacrifice your health,” said Dunn. “Our Membership for All program allows everyone to belong to the YMCA, regardless of their economic situation. At the YMCA, your monthly dues are based on your annual household income, which means that even if you’ve lost a job or been laid off, you and your family can still come to the YMCA for better spirit, mind and body health.”
