The city of Bellaire issued a fact sheet Friday about how Monday’s severe storm and 8 inches of rainfall impacted Bellaire this week and how taxpayers’ dollars were used for emergency response.
In all, 16 homes, two businesses and some city facilities took on water, and emergency responders answered 42 calls about flooded or abandoned vehicles. Another loss was to water meter lids; 367 were reported damaged or missing, and by Friday, 281 of those had been replaced.
