ZBA To Meet Oct. 16; Agenda Includes Items From Meeting Cancelled Due To Ike

West U.’s Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in the conference room of the Municipal Building, 3800 University Blvd.
The agenda includes a time extension request from the owners of the property at 3116 Rice Blvd., a request by Wok on Wheels, 5802 Kirby Dr., to allow the restaurant to operate without requiring additional parking spaces, and a request by the owners of the property at 5708 Buffalo Speedway to allow a special exception for a stub, or dead end driveway.
The agenda also includes a special exception request by St. Andrews Presbyterian Church at 5308 Buffalo Speedway. The church currently operates under a non-conforming status as a church within a single-family residence zoning area, and is requesting for special exceptions to build an additional classroom for about 20 students, along with covered parking on their 3303 Bissonnet property, across from the church.
