The West University Place Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room of the Municipal Building, 3800 University Blvd.
The board will discuss two requests and one appeal. The property owner at 6118 Buffalo Speedway is requesting a variance to allow a dead end driveway in the front yard of the residence. The property owner at 2701 Arbuckle St. is appealing an administrative decision that determined that a trellis in the side yard counts as a structure. If the appeal is not successful, the owner will request a variance to allow the trellis to encroach into the side yard for 5.5 feet. A public hearing will be held on the issue before deliberations. The property owner at 2708 Pemberton is requesting a variance to allow 1.5 feet of 18”x18” retaining wall attached to a pool wall to be located 7.5’ inside of east side yard.
