The Bellaire Police Department are looking for a pair of individuals who are reported to have burglarized a number of vehicles at the Mulberry Park parking lot in the 700 block of Mulberry.
The burglaries occurred on June 20 at approximately 7 p.m. One victim stated that she parked and secured her 2014 Porsche Cayenne in the Mulberry Park parking lot facing north, parallel to the railroad tracks. It’s estimated that between 7-7:45 p.m. an unknown suspect broke the front driver’s side window and stole the victims purse, which contained her passport.
A second vehicle at the same location has similar damage but nothing of value was taken. An officer was advised by an individual that he observed two black males entering a four-door, gray older model, late 90s Pontiac GrandAm, at approximately 7:30 p.m. and found it to be suspicious. The individual stated that he walk towards Mulberry Park and when he returned to his vehicle, he saw the same males entering the same vehicle a second time. The individual stated he observed the sedan exiting Mulberry Park and proceeded to travel north on Mulberry Lane. The individual stated the suspects appeared to be between 18-20 years of age, black males, thin build and one wearing a white shirt.
The officer was advised by a second victim, that she observed a black male wearing a brown shirt and dark shorts, sitting on the railroad tracks, as she arrived to the park. The victim stated as she was walking back to her vehicle, due to being advised of her vehicle being broken into, she observed the same black male running north bound on the railroad tracks.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate this individual. Below is a picture sent to the officer which may contain one of the possible suspects.
