Year-over-year home sales figures for West University and Bellaire were again flat in August, but still at a robust level, with 51 properties changing hands and prices holding steady.
These figures come to Essentials monthly from the Houston Association of Realtors.
Inventory and selection of single-family properties is plentiful in both communities, with 172 homes available from $379,9000 to $3.9 million in Bellaire (plus townhomes and vacant lots), and 167 on the market in the 77005 ZIP code, with prices ranging from $474,000 to $4,499,000.
Overall, the Houston market was back on track in August after the first dip in 13 months in July. Both supply and demand were up, putting sales 17.4 percent ahead of August 2020’s record pace.
